I started in IT at the turn of the millennium. I've seen every hype cycle - from the dot-com boom, through mobile, cloud, to no-code and now AI. I was working with AI models in 2018, years before GPT became a household name.
This matters because building software was never the hard part. The hard part is knowing what to build, when to launch, and how to avoid the mistakes that kill 90% of products. That's what 25 years of shipping teaches you.
Today I use Bubble, Xano, and various AI coding assistants - not because they're trendy, but because they're the fastest way to get a quality product to market. The tools change every year. The principles of shipping great software don't.
